Meet Our Team

Damien Larson is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, a Licensed Property Tax Consultant and Principal at Merit Advisors. He has worked in the energy business since 1997, within various capacities in the upstream segment of the industry for operators such as Texaco, Fina Oil & Chemical, ConocoPhillips and CML Exploration, LLC. He has worked internationally and domestically in financial as well as engineering positions.

Damien has earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Business Administration from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.

He is also an active participant in the Society of Petroleum Engineers and currently serves on the Minerals Subcommittee of the Texas Oil & Gas Association.
