Meet Our Team

Kelly Smith serves as the General Counsel of Merit Advisors. In her role, she oversees and manages all legal matters for Merit Advisors. Kelly also serves as General Counsel for B-29 Family Holdings, LLC. Prior to joining Merit and B-29,
Kelly began her career as an associate attorney at Haynes & Boone, LLP, focusing on fund formation, joint ventures, real estate, and other corporate matters.

Kelly received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Louis University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, where she also graduated summa cum laude.
